Kate Elizabeth Winslet is an award-winning British actress and the one who portrayed the character Rose DeWitt Bukater in James Cameron’s epic film Titanic, released in 1997. Born in Reading, England, on 5 October 1975, Winslet began her acting career as a child. Winslet has a family of actors, and she also attended the Redroofs Theater School, further cementing her passion for acting.
