Dua Lipa Surprises Fans at First-Ever National PrEP Day in L.A.

Dua Lipa danced the night away with her LGBTQ fans to raise awareness for HIV prevention.
The British pop star, 30, was the surprise special guest at a celebration for the first-ever National PrEP Day by MISTR, held at The Abbey in West Hollywood on Thursday, Oct. 9.
“Let’s have a party!” Lipa told the crowd between performing her hits “New Rules,” “Don’t Start Now” and “Houdini” at the event, which was emceed by Bob the Drag Queen.
Among the star-studded attendees who took in Lipa’s performance included Cardi B, Demi Lovato, Kim Petras, Matt Bomer, NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Tamar Braxton, Tom Daley, Omar Apollo and more. Diplo, SG Lewis and Joey with the Mustache supplied music at the DJ booth throughout the night.
Drag stars Aquaria, Plastique Tiara, Trinity the Tuck, Symone and Shea Couleé each took the stage with their best Lipa routines before later joining the singer.
